NAT'L PERFORMING ARTS CONVENTION PACKED WITH SIGHTS, SOUNDS, AND OPPORTUNITIES!
Open to Denver Performing Arts public- Friday and Saturday!

The National Performing Arts Convention has opened its doors to anyone who is seriously interested in any of the performing arts, and those who go to this free event at the convention center will find a lot there to see!

Want to see the original Wicked costumes (Amazing work!) up close and in person? There're there- in the premier exhibit of the convention, which was designed and built as a two-year long project of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology. Want to see incredibly detailed mock-ups and working plans of some of the most famous plays, operas, and other world renowned performances in the world? There're there! Visit with some of the most creative professionals in the industry. Some of the nation's top sound designers, scenic designers, costume designers, lighting designers, writers, producers, theatrical wig vendors, stage make-up specialists a showing off their wares and skills, and even a custom corset company is there ready to measure you top to bottom- and the list goes on and on. How does 'The Stage Channel' sound to you? Go by their booth and ask them what they're up to! There are more performances than you can shake a stick at, there are fascinating people, educational and entertaining experiences, and more. Bottom line- a lot of very interesting people with a lot of information and even some pretty amazing opportunities for those who are pursuing a profession in the performing arts.

The National Performing Arts Convention is only held every four years, and the next one won't be in Denver.

You can see all there is to see by simply going to the convention center on Friday or Saturday. There are lots of very friendly people there to tell you what's happening and to show you where to go.
